❤ Class level and prerequisite:
This is a Quilter Beginner level course, we recommend it to people with a minimum sewing knowledge and that you know how to use a sewing machine.✎ What you will learn :
With this class, you will learn how to make your version of the ADVENTURELAND QUILT in Throw size 60" X 60" (152 x 152 cm)How to choose the fabric, palette, then how to play with the pattern and the color matching variations.
At the end of the day, you should have your quilt top (top side).
This sewing class is one 6-hour session, including a lunch break.
❤️ NOTE FROM THE PATTERN DESIGNER :
Adventureland is a modern quilt pattern that can be made with a jelly roll. It was designed and written for beginner quilters or those looking for a speedy project. With just one jelly roll and a yard of background fabric, you can make the throw quilt! - Suzy Quilts
✂ Class Supplies :
• Pattern is NOT included.PDF Pattern needs to be purchased HERE prior to class registration.
• Supplies NOT included in the workshop price: please bring your own fabric and necessary notions for your project. Basic sewing equipment will be available on-site: scissors, rulers, measuring tape, seam ripper, chalk.
• Fabric requirement: 1 Jelly Roll or 40 - 2.5in WOF strips, 1 yard for the background.
All students will receive a 10% discount coupon code in the class confirmation, to help them get their supplies for the class (valid for the day).
• Sewing machine: you can bring your own machine (and get a $10 discount on the class fee) or use one of our on-site JUKI machines.
★ Cancellation policy:
Class fees are non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 48 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. Cancellations that are made less than 48 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their class fee.Reservation required. Seats are limited.
A confirmation email, along with a reminder of the supply list, will be sent. Please ensure all required items are purchased either in-store or online before the class begins.
