"My name is Katie. I was introduced to quilting while taking a sewing class back in high school, shortly after being gifted my sewing machine. Being young, life happened and I never made quilting a priority until my grandma passed and I quickly learned she did some quilting herself. Even though we never did any quilting together she has inspired me and my work to continue on this path. We shared the last name, Zahm, inspiring my company name. Since then I have made a handful of quilts but things really took off after we moved into our new home in Denver and I have been able to quilt in my own studio. I have retired from making custom quilts but you can always check out my new love for design on my home page. Thanks for stopping by! "
