About us
We're Lilia and Richard, a couple from Quebec who fell in love with beautiful textiles and turned that passion into Elégante Virgule in 2018. We hunt down the fabrics that make quilters' hearts skip a beat: sought-after collections such as Tilda, Acufactum, and Rifle Paper Co..., plus authentic French-woven Madras in premium 100% cotton, something very few shops in North America carry.
We work closely with talented designers to put together sewing and quilting kits that inspire, whether you're a passionate maker working on your next masterpiece or a small business looking for something truly special. Our mission is simple: help your creative projects flourish with fabrics and patterns that spark joy and imagination.
We also care deeply about the world that inspires our craft. Every order ships in eco-friendly packaging (recyclable, compostable, or reusable) because protecting your beautiful materials and protecting the environment should go hand in hand.
