❤ Class level and prerequisite:
This is a Quilter Beginner level course, we recommend it to people with a minimum sewing knowledge and that you know how to use a sewing machine.✎ What you will learn :
With this class, you will learn :.• How to make the base block for the MEADOWLAND QUILT.
• You will decide the final size of your quilt (6 sizes available from Small Throw to King Bed, see second picture).
• How to choose the fabric, palette, etc....
• How to play with the pattern and the color matching variations
• How to cut the fabrics and make a flying geese, how to chain piece
At the end of the class, you should have made a few blocks for your quilt top (or the full top for a Small Throw).
This sewing class is a one 4-hour session, including a lunch break.
❤️ NOTE FROM THE PATTERN DESIGNER :
The Meadowland Quilt Pattern is a great beginner friendly, block based pattern. It is very versatile because you can use FQs or 1/2 yards. Plus, I provide suggestions on how to make it scrappy using only your stash. Meadowland is the pattern you won't be able to stop making! It comes in six sizes and is easily customizable as it is block based.

✂ Class Supplies :
• Pattern is NOT included.PDF Pattern needs to be purchased HERE prior to class registration.
• Supplies NOT included in the workshop price: please bring your own fabric, matching thread and bobbins.
Basic sewing notions will be available on-site: mat, rotary cutter, scissors, rulers, measuring tape, seam ripper.
• Fabric requirement: per the pattern (second picture), the Small Throw made of 9 blocks (3 x 3 blocks) requires 9 FQs and 2/3 yard of background.
If you want to make a bigger size, please follow the pattern recommendation. The pictured MEADOWLAND is a Large Throw made of 20 blocks (4 x 5 blocks) requires 20 FQs and 1 2/3 yards of background.
SPECIAL DISCOUNT: All students will receive a 10% discount for the day, to help them get their supplies for the class.
• Sewing machine: you can bring your own machine (and get a $10 discount on the class fee) or use one of our on-site JUKI machines.

6 to 8 maximum.★ Cancellation policy:
Class fees are non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 48 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. Cancellations that are made less than 48 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their class fee.Reservation required. Seats are limited.
A confirmation email, along with a reminder of the supply list, will be sent. Please ensure all required items are purchased either in-store or online before the class begins.
We reserve the right to cancel the course if minimum numbers of students are not reached. Full refund of course fees ONLY if we, for any reason, cancel a workshop / course.
