Sarah Watts aimed to highlight all of the whimsical nature of the story while giving it her own narrative twist. Hello Alice also features a more vibrant and modern colour palette that fits right in with Ruby Star Society.

Sarah’s father rescued a vintage Alice in Wonderland book set from being thrown out. Sarah had always loved the story and wanted to do her own take on the classic.

Sarah’s version of Hello Alice is a friendly retelling of characters out of her sketchbook! It includes teacups and petit fours and caterpillars, but she also wanted to capture the characters in a unique twist! Her Mad Hatter is a version of everyone’s quirky madcap aunt. The Tweedles - who aren’t dumb at all - are reimagined as friendly dogs!
