It measures 4.5" x 9" zipped closed - a generous 9" x 9" unzipped. There's an inside zipper pocket and small pockets for thread, measuring tape, a package of needles and whatever else you need-want for your on-the-go sewing needs. Or your stay-at-home sewing needs.
