"The name Big Sky Star is a reflection of the state I’ve lived in my whole life - Montana aka Big Sky Country. This quilt is a variation on the classic Lone Star Quilt. But instead of an 8-point star made up of 8 diamond sections, the Big Sky Star is made up of 6 split and layered 8-point stars.
This quilt pattern is Intermediate because it involves accurately cutting and sewing on a bias, sewing with a consistent 1⁄4” seam throughout, and precision when matching diamond points."

Backing and batting are NOT included. But you can purchase the BACKING separately from the matching Warp and Weft collection by Alexia Marcelle Abegg for Ruby Star Society. Backing requirement is 7 3/4 yards (16 units),
