What are needle minders used for?
It is useful for all hand needlework to keep the needle close to the work without damaging it. For example, in traditional embroidery or cross-stitch, if you want to take a break during a needlepoint, where should you put the needle? The first instinct is to prick it into the fabric... but this can damage the fabric or loosen the work. With a magnetic needle minder, you'll know where your needle is and it won't accidentally damage your work.
How is the Bohin needle minder attached?
The Bohin needle minder is entirely magnetic. It is attached by a magnet which allows it to be fixed to the work without any holes. This means there are no holes in the holder and the fabric cannot be damaged.
