What are needle minders used for?
It is useful for all hand needlework to keep the needle close to the work without damaging it. For example, in traditional embroidery or cross-stitch, if you want to take a break during a needlepoint, where should you put the needle? The first instinct is to prick it into the fabric... but this can damage the fabric or loosen the work.
