Oscar is based on a 19th century paisley print, very delicate, rich and full of a myriad of tiny details. For the Classical story, the Liberty Fabrics team selected the prints that have become paradigms of particular styles of Liberty London print: small scale florals, paisley and hand drawn flowers.
Liberty Fabrics started the Classics collection in 1979, in order to champion the most well-known and iconic designs from the Liberty archive. The collection offers reworked and recoloured interpretations of our most quintessential Liberty heritage designs – including Art Nouveau motifs, paisley prints, scenic landscapes and ditsy florals.
